Vintage Murray 18/46 Riding Lawn Tractor

I recently won in a estate auction a riding lawn tractor but have no idea about it. It is a vintage silver square body type with the listed below numbers. Any information you Murray experts can provide would be greatly appreciated. Runs good but I need a Solenoid replacement at this point. Not even sure of the age of tractor. I tried to attach photos but the system is too limiting about the size of photos. I can't even resize them small enough (Max 1000 kb is ridiculous). Thanks

    Looking at the parts diagram

It's an opposed twin which is a good engine...

Re the solenoid, you can spin out the solenoid, cut the needle inside off as short as possible, and just bypass it...

Thanks for the information. Not sure what you posted means: "Re the solenoid, you can spin out the solenoid, cut the needle inside off as short as possible, and just bypass it..."

Also, with the info I provided, can you tell me what year this mower and engine is?

    Thanks

Solenoid, I thought you were referring to the one (if equipped) UNDER the carb float bowl...

You may be referring to the starter solenoid...

    As for the year:
