Fast revving engine

Hi broke a conrod, replaced no worries, but now the engine runs so fast can't figure why. I have been able to slow with Governor push all the way forward but still running too fast. A full model # posted for the engine would help....

Your governor is either damaged or not adjusted correctly.
Check You Tube (Or a shop manual) on how to adjust.
