Snapper upgrade

Hello fellow lawnmowers. I was wanting to know i have a Troy built. It's a awful lawnmower the steering gears stripped 2 in the same day. So it's got a 20 hp on it. I am wondering if i can swap it on a snapper. I have seen on hacebook market that i can get the body of a snapper cheap. I could just get a running snapper. But i already have a good 20 hp sitting. I'm wondering if it would be too much work than it is worth? Or a great project to have a nice mower. Thank you.
