Ariens 04668900

I recently was changing the blade clutch cable on my Ariens 911189. When I took the controller apart a round spring fell out of it. I can not figure out where in goes and have had no luck with an exploded diagram. Can any one help me on this? Did alot of serching. Thank you. Jim

I looked on the parts diagram and couldn't find that spring at all.

However, looking at your pic, it appears that spring (witness marks and shape)
goes into the pocket, on the piece, just to the left of the spring (in your pic)..

How it works and what it does, dunno, never had one apart but it appears to go
    in that spot...

I agree about the pocket but it does nothing there. I am so frustrated with this. Can you send me the parts diagram or a site please. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Thanks Jim

Thank you. Unfortunately they don't have an exploded view of just that part. We have a local guy I've been to a few times. May take a ride down there next week. I could buy a new one for $55 but I am the type that doesn't give up. It was working before I took it apart. Thanks again. Jim
