Simplicity Prestige Tractor 2691181 52" fab deck

Having troubleshooting problems testing the electric sensor on cutting deck that indicates on dash board how high or low
your cut will be. Sensor has two wires that come out of sensor. Can this electric sensor be ohmed out to see if it is good?
Dash board indicator is blank. Tested all wires going to and from sensor, all indicated good but cannot read the sensor
it's self. Part number of sensor is 1750618yp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
