Campbell Hausfeld small air compressor repair options

I have a Campbell Hausfeld small 2 gallons air compressor. The model number is FP209002. It needs new piston and a PTFE gasket. The motor assembly FP209039AV is discontinued. I called the manufacturer. They said that I can throw the compressor in a trash or recycle it. I am wondering if it is possible to replace the piston and the gasket. The piston diameter is 24.5 mm. The bore ID is 25 mm. Piston length is 15.5 mm. The gasket seems to be 16mm x 28mm x 0.5mm. (IDxODxthickness). Please see photos.
