CC800 Blade Adapter

I just bought a new CC800. Pretty good but I hit a few rocks and swapped some blades out - good as new. Then I hit a branch in the ground and the mower stopped. Started up but 30 mins later a blade fell out. This time I removed the deck and I can see the blade adapter (star) is nearly flat and I can't get it to bite the blade. It's clear I need a new one. I can find the full spindle assembly replacement but it's $150+ and that's for just one! I've replaced just the blade adapter before on other mowers, but I can't tell if it's built into the spindle assemble or is a separate part on the CC800. I'm concerned because I can't find a blade adapter part for the CC800.

On a side note, I get this was my fault and I should be more careful, but I've have a 5 year hold honda that is my "rock mower" - it's stopped on wood and rocks 50+ times and besides hammering the crank shaft back with a hammer one time, it's been the most durable mower I've seen. The CC800 is not a commercial mower, but I fully expect to hit some branches (smaller) and the like and I'm concerned about durability. I barely did 2.5 acres one time before needing blades and now needing new, possibly very expensive parts.

Any info is appreciated.

So the temp solution until I can call the dealer or CC was to simply grind down the aluminum on 4-star patter on the blade assembly, fit the blade, drive it in further with a am impact driver and the bolt until hit had a good bite, and then secure it with the impact driver tightly with a heavy does of locktight. I am seeing people have good results with the cheaper and grease-able assembly spindles for $35 each vs. ~$150 OEM...still can't find the blade adapter or cheaper assembly spindle for the CC800 though.

Thank you. Yep, it's the full spindle assemble vs. just blade adapter separate...I'll have to see if I can find cheaper than OEM.

I'm seeing a larger spindle (two belts) and a single pulley spindle..

    Which one?

Interesting. So it seems the spindle shaft which has the blade adapter can be purchased apart from assembly. My model is 12AE764B010 and uses a 4 star adapter.
