Briggs & Stratton riding lawn mower carburator

Hi there,

I have an old Briggs and Stratton riding lawn mower that was leaking gas from the carburetor.

I took off the bowl and promptly misplaced it... I was planning to purchase a new carburetor, but I can't find any full part numbers on the carburetor. I do have some partial numbers. Someone said the numbers could have been on the bowl.

I have partial numbers and I have the engine numbers, but I'm not sure how to use those numbers either. Google searches aren't turning up any carburetors that match the one in my hand.

Can you offer any insight?

I can't for the life of me upload images into this post either on my phone or PC.  Instead I uploaded them to imgbb, here:

Thanks so much,
Stephen

I guess links to images aren't allowed.  Uploading images just uploads indefinitely.  I'll try to include the numbers I can find on the engine below.

One label reads, "Briggs & Stratton Corporation... Family YBSXS.4652VB   274818" and another reads, "Model: 28T707 Type: 1154-E1 Code: 010119ZE"

It's a PowerBuilt 12.5 HP

The Carburetor has some faint numbers (I have asterisks where the numbers can't be read): 6**080   C1*131  *ZN

Thanks so much!

I had the same issue locating the replacement carburetor for my mower. I took the engine number and researched it on PartsTree.com and selected the “Carburetor” category. Afterwards, I found the proper carb and took the part number for that and found an exact replacement on Amazon.

Thanks so much!  So I just needed to search "28T707-1154-E1" on ereplacementparts.com or partstree.com to find it...  Thank you both, I appreciate your help!
