Generator wiring

Hi everyone! I got an old generator, it says Honda but I think it may be fake. Anyways, it has manual and electric start. I can start it manually, but not the electric way. It has a new battery, and when I was checking the wiring I noticed that a white wire coming from the flywheel (charging module) it is connected directly to the battery positive with the positive from the solenoide, both wires are together. I still can’t start it this way, but I don’t know how to wire it. (It has an oil sensor connected, but can’t fine any regulator o any fuse). What can I do?

On the signal wire/side of the solenoid, do you have power to the solenoid to activate the solenoid?

Also, if you run a line (kinda heavy), from the battery direct to the starter does it crank(it should)?
