Riding Tractor Model: Murry LT100
E1350 Briggs & Straton Engine.
500 CC 13.5 HP.

Carb Part# :592949

 Actions Taken:
  • Machine is brand new  - Used a handful of times. Fuel tubes are well vented and new.
  • Fuel is gravity fed to carb and filter is not clogged.
  • Fuel solenoid is bypassed with bolt.
  • When carb is pulled gas resides in carb bowl so gas IS getting to carb.
  • Brand New Spark Plug –  Tested for spark so ignition module and plug presumably are good.
  • I have pulled the plug, and have not smelt gas as I assume I should.

Have you tried spraying starter fluid into cylinder thru spark plug hole?

Than you - I did.  I replaced the carburetor and it seems to have worked.  Amazed how it can block fuel from hitting the cylinder heads.
