2014 timecutter Toro SS4235 42" 24 hp V twin zero turn

I know a company that is selling the 2014 lawnmower. The lawnmower has only been used once then left outside for 10 years. They are taking silent bids for it. The battery is dead and tires are flat. They are selling as is so no starting it. What would be the problem with the engine and or the hydrostatic drive when sitting so long without being started? They want a minimum of $775. Is it worth taking the gamble?

Thank you

The place to mow is too bumpy. I saw it and it is. Someone made a bad decision purchasing it. They didnt want to deal with it after that so they left it sitting.

So, likely the worse case scenario, hydro's are ok.

Engine carb is clogged.  IF, the engine doesn't want to turn (and isn't rusted inside),
some oil inside, soaking should get it rotating (if it doesn't already).
The engine won't be blown but you may have to get inside it, (depends on if a valve was open
    allowing moisture inside).

I'd go for it if in otherwise decent shape...
