Tecumseh LH358SA engine won't start

Tried starting my snowblower up today, and when turning the choke knob, it was extremely tight. Manage to work the knob back and forth and finally got it to full choke. This engine does have electric start, and after priming the engine, all it would do when I attempted to start it was turn over. The engine did not sputter or anything. Thinking it could be a plug, but with the stiffness of the choke knob, that makes me suspicious. Should I look for a kit (if someone could suggest a part number for a rebuild kit, that would be awesome) or buy a new carb. Thanks.

Your carb is clogged up from sitting with old fuel in the bowl.

Are you mechanically inclined / familiar with carburetors?

There's some small jets inside that are clogged.  The carb would have to come off as well
as the float bowl. You likely have some varnish inside.

As I don't know the FULL, exact model # I can't bring up your specific carb

99% of the time, the carb can just be cleaned, with no parts... Use brake cleaner as carb cleaner
is too aggressive on the rubber parts...

One carb with your limited model # is

Good morning Scott, thanks for the advice. I'll pull the carb apart and get it cleaned out. Here's the ID plate for the snowblower motor.
