Generac Low Oil Pressure Idiot Light on

Checked dipstick, oil level well within the hatched area of the dipstick ( the safe zone on the dipstick)

Does the oil level sensor go bad?

BTW, some, especially Briggs, when they activate (or fail), they kill
MOST of the spark at the plug if not all spark.

It's not un-common on generators.  For the Briggs, if you have a full oil
level but lost spark, the switch can be by-passed by simply un-plugging it.

Not a biggon, just check the oil level when re-fueling...

    Have a Happy New Year!

The part costs 25 bucks.  BFD.  Just buy the switch and be done with it.  Jeez, in my area the generator guys charge 250 to 300 bucks to do a fly-by.
