Replacement Coil for 3HP Briggs and Stratton

Hello, newby to the forum.  I have a 3HP Briggs and Stratton Model#80232 Type #224201-HC-1.  It is a 1988, aluminum block with no points.  Electronic ignition.  I am needing a replacement coil and have done fairly extensive search.   I originally thought I was after a 298502 coil, but the images online don't appear to be the same as my old one.  Can anyone head me in the right direction?
Thanks,

PBM

Any digits on the line following 80232?
Is it possible that the electronic ignition is not original, that is, that the original does indeed employ points?
Can you give us a photo of your coil?

The number for the 3HP is 80232-2242-01.  I don't believe it ever had points/condenser as there is no housing for them.  My understanding is that B&S switched to electronic ignitions in the early 80s.  This engine is a 1988 (based on Code). I've had the engine for several years and it was running reasonably well 4 years ago.  Sat with no fuel in it for the past 4 years.  I found a YouTube on testing the coil and found that the primary shows no resistance when tested.  Secondary shows 2.6 Kohms.  I've got no spark.   I took pictures but am unsure as to steps to insert (post URL?).
    Thanks,

It says your coil is indeed pointless, part no. 398593.
    Does this help?

Are you sure about the zero resistance? Did you set the meter at the lowest setting?

This parts list shows it DID originally have points:

The newer coils (even for older electronic coils) are a bit smaller than the older ones.

I just replaced a coil in this engine (not terribly old) and the new coil was maybe 20% smaller:
