MS260 carburetor

I think I need a new carb for my MS260 Pro. Are the aftermarket ones any good? They seem to be cheap enough. Or stick with OEM?

Aftermarket ones are a crap shoot..
IME, they don't last nearly as long as the OEM...

I got the aftermarket carb in and lo and behold, was wrong one. Even though it was advertised as for my MS260. So I ordered a rebuild kit off eBay that is OEM Stihl. Guess I’ll be tearing into my OEM carburetor.

The two diaphrams, (metering and fuel pump) ARE what gets hard and doesn't work over time.

    Very easy to replace.

That OEM, rebuilt, will be WAY better than the Chinese crap...
