Briggs and Stratton 44s977 Choke-o-matic

New to this Auto choke idea.  Swapped out a Kawasaki fr691v for a B/S 44S977 on my Hustler Fastrack.  Its got the auto choke so I'm not using my choke cable but before I take it off I wondered if anyone had a reason to go the route of getting rid of the "Choke-O-Matic"?
