Honda Hrr2169vla

I purchased a honda hrr2169vla a few weeks ago. The mower runs great, it just doesnt shut off. I removed the flywheel to test the safety switch and that appears to be working. When I removed the flywheel there was nothing running to the coil. The prior owner had cut the wiring for the key switch start. Im guessing they decided to remove the wiring for the safety switch as well. There is only one wire that runs from the switch to a grounding screw.

As I don't have the full model #, is wire/part #6 hooked up to the coil or?

The wire that SHOULD go to the coil, IS to kill spark.

Putting a wire onto there, then grounding it (you won't get shocked) will turn off the engine.

If you want to get fancy, you can wire in a toggle switch between the coil and ground.
Then just flip the switch for run / not run.

Of course with the safety's disconnected, it could be hazardous to your health..
