Trying to change bearings on drive shaft, snapper with splined drive wheel

Trying to change the bearings on the drive shaft of a RWD Snapper that has a splined shaft/splined left drive wheel.

I have the wheels off and the transmission out.
But
The LEFT drive wheel was attached on a splined shaft, and the bearing will not come off the shaft, the spline is larger than the bearing.

The spline is obviously a different material, don't know if it is threaded on or pressed.

Needs to come off to get bearing off.

How do I change the left bearing? The bearing was put on before the spline, so the spline has to come off. Does the spline thread on? Was it pressed on?

( Snapper Model 7800193 P216019KWV- Have found NO spline shafts or plastic left rear drive wheel with spline )

Can’t believe Snapper made a model, with a splined shaft, a splined wheel, that is designed so that the bearing cannot be changed.

Appreciate any help
Hal

Is it bearing #16 your trying to change:  ?  (That's the axle not a drive shaft).

You have to take assembly #8 off.

You should then have access to the 3 screws (#17)
to remove the bearing from part #15

Part #7 and #8 have been removed, along with #15 (from both sides) and bolts holding bearings have been removed.

The problem is when you get to this point the left side bearing #16 is being held on the shaft by the threaded spline which is not part of the shaft, it is either pressed on, or threaded on and has to go before the bearing will come off.

I am to the point of advice as to how that spline shaft is held on .

That shaft is one piece. Ain't screwed together, nothing pressed on.

That bearing should just slide over the shaft.
I suspect the inner part of the bearing is rusted to your shaft.

Some penetrating oil and careful hammering of the inner part of the old
    bearing will get it off..

That bearing will not "slide over the shaft", - it will not slide towards the transmission and -it cannot slide towards off the spline end because the spline is larger diameter.

Sorry I can not upload pictures. If you could see the bearing and the spline this would be easier to understand.

    Thanks appreciate the help
