Segway H3000 Robotic Lawnmower
Recently Lowe’s has begun carrying Segway. I decided to try out H3000, it is older tech. I have been watching these type of mowers for several years. I live in Georgia and grass has a lot of Bahia grass. If you have Bahia and are in the south then you know how fast it grows especially when it rains in the afternoon. I was lazy and decided not to cut the grass like the manual said, lol. So I let it cut foot plus height Bahia which made mower very slow. Seeing how slow it was cutting decided to cut it with Hustler mower back down. This did help and reduce mowing time. It doesn’t have a suction like a gas powered mower and uses razor blades to mow but is rather quiet. This model takes a long time to but uses very little electricity to recharge lithium battery, I will test this with kill a watt tester soon. My testing is on over a half an acre. This model does allow night time mowing which some don’t allow. The pros is that you can schedule mowing and has anti theft, also gps tracking, customize cut height. Cons takes a long time to cut, loses gps signal in some areas, and gets stuck. Ticks are very bad here this year so it’s nice for the grass to be mowed down for my daughter’s swingset, my rabbit hutch and garden. So I keep it running every few days
