Do I need to replace my control board? Generac Genereator, 9592-3, 5500 kW does not start

Pressing the start switch activates the fuel pump, but not the starter.  Fuel primer works fine.  Found starter connection relay solenoid was faulty, so replaced.  Can jump the solenoid which will activate the starter, but no start up.  Have tried starter fluid. Not even a pop.  Not sure if the choke is working, but here in FL it does not get cold. Previously have replaced the fuel pump and oil pressure gauge. Checked the wiring to the switch for conductivity and it is ok.   I am at a lost as to what to do.  Am thinking it is the control board, but would like to run an analysis, but don't know how.
Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
John
