Husqvarna z246 spindle issue

Hello,

I recently replaced the spindle assembly and pulley on right side of deck. Spindle was completely worn and needed to be replaced.

New assembly worked perfectly first time mowing. We have 2 acres and it mowed with no issues. Husband went out to mow again and about half way through belt deck was smoking and the new spindle assembly is broken in the same way as the old one.

Is this just bad luck or could there an underlying issue?
