Tecumseh Torque spec questions

Hi Folks

I have an old Craftsman 143.384442 which is a Tesumseh TVS90-43405F.

I ordered some OEM Flywheel keys that should arrive Monday.  In the meantime I am looking for see what that Torque specs are for my model.   I see in the Tecumseh Tech Handbook for 3 to 11 HP 4-Cycle L-Head pdf the Torque specs on pages 91-92.    I see that the Flywheel Nut for my model is 40 ft. lbs.   But what I am also looking for is what is the Torque specs for the Ignition Coil?   I seem to recall that it is 25 ft. lbs.  but I am not sure and I do not see this on pages 91-92.   Maybe it is there but by a different name?

The gap info is in the pdf towards the top.  So I am good there.

Thanks
Brian

You will snap the bolts off before you reach 25 ft/lb.

Boy you are right as the torque spec is 45 in/lbs. Nad I can easily shear these at 45 in/lbs by overtightening by hand without the inch pound wrench.

And flywheel nut torque depends on if aluminum or cast iron flywheel.

    Aluminum is 37.5 fl/lbs
    Cast iron is 46 ft/lbs.

    Great thanks.

So I see now that the 4 column in the column says ALL TVXL and TVS.   According to the table the flywheel should be aluminum.

Look closer to the chart. This where you got to use your separator tube as which flywheel you actually got. Cast iron is the heavy version.

Ooops I meant to say the 5th column.   However I definitely have a different version of the doc.

Do you mind sharing a link to the version of the doc you have?  If you have a link that is.
