128LD string trimmer won't start

128LD string trimmer won't start

My trimmer all of the sudden sputtered out while I was using it. Couldn't get it to start after that.
It would run with the choke fully open for a bit but wouldn't stay running.
Here's what I've done to try and resolve the situation.
    Replaced spark plugreplaced air filterreplaced fuel filterdrained gas and replaced with a premixed /oil.
The previous gas was kind of green. I put some gas water remover in the old batch but that didn't seem to help. Hence the new gas.

Any idea what's next to look at here?

    Cleaned original carburetor. Didn't work.
     
    I replaced the carburetor. Fired right up!

    UPDATE: It fired up and I was able to use it for a bit but whenever I went 'full throttle' it chugged and then died out. Tried adjusting the idle speed but couldn't find the sweet spot on it.
    Fuel lines?
    I'd say maybe adjust the carburetor fuel/air mix but it came from the factory ready to go.

    Check /clean your muffler spark arrester screen. 
     
    As it clogs up over time with carbon, it limits air flow, not allowing the engine to pump air (run at high speed or if really bad-won't run at all)...
     
    Carb clean and a SS small brush should do it..

    Thanks @SRTsFZ6. Where is the muffler spark arrester screen located? I don't think I've come across it yet.

    The muffler screen is part #38, under a cover attached to the muffler.
