223L e-tech string trimmer won't start

It ran perfectly when I used it 3 weeks ago. Turned it off and put it away. Now it won't start. I am using marine fuel mixed with a 50/1 synthetic 2-cycle oil. I have perfect spark and I have fuel because after about 10 starter pulls, I pulled the plug and it was wet. I tried the same many times. After only 5 pulls I check the plug and it is wet. I replaced the plug. I checked all fuel lines for leaks. I checked the gasket between carb and engine, which looks good.  None of it fixed it. I thought the only thing left is the fuel itself. I have not checked that because to top it off, now the puller spring broke, Murphy's law. I used the same fuel 3 weeks ago and it ran fine. Why would the fuel be bad 3 weeks later? I am scratching my head, help

Is there spark?  Sounds like your magneto died.

    Plus 1 for checking spark..

I would also leave the plug removed and turn the engine with the spark plug hole facing down.
Pull the starter several times to remove any built up fuel in the crankcase (sounds like it's flooded now).

Sometimes you don't see the forest because of all the trees. 2 months ago I finally stumbled on to the problem after I had taken everything apart, cleaned, inspected and checked. Timing was correct (no sheared off key), I had good spark, all the fuel lines were solid, no leaks, new spark plug etc. So 2 months ago I tried it again. I pushed the primer bulb like I did a 100 times before and I thought it felt a little soft. I took a very close and good look and I noticed it had a small crack near the base. I shrugged it off to "so what", the crack is so small it doesn't even leak, but it isn't right so I will replace it. I did, primed it, pulled the starter string and I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. It started right up and ran like a dream, just like it did in September 2021, before the problem started. I was just standing there in total disbelieve. I went through all of this over a frikken primer bulb, which took me 10 minutes to replace. Well, the bright side is, the string trimmer got a good going over and is in great shape now.
