BRAND NEW Toro 828 won't start!

Help!  I just purchased brand new toro powermax 828 snow blower.  Started, ran for a few seconds, died.  Very hard starting. Finally started it, ran really rough-  choke was on, turned choke down gradually, hoping it would smooth out, ran rough, died now won't start at all. Very frustrated. Snow storm tomorrow!

    Oil sump is full?
     
    Might try some starting fluid down the intake and see if it kicks (see if it's a fuel issue)...

    Never mind.  I am embarrassed to admit it was ME.  I mis-interpreted the vague/crappy starting pictures that came with the unit.  I thought they had the fuel shut off in the vertical position for on, when indeed it was the polar opposite!  Although, looking at the bright side, I'm GLAD it was ME, and not IT!  Thank you, SRTsFZ6 for your attempt at helping me!

    I usually don't put a lot of faith in the 'manuals' included w ope, (or any modern manufactured products)
