Remove the engine tins to see if your jug and head are packed with clippings which will overheat your engine in a few minutes and cause it to begin seizing up.
If it cools for a while and fires right back up then you probably found the problem. Don't let it stay stopped up or you'll be boring the cylinder, purchasing an oversize piston and rings to get it back to health.
