That diagram/link I posted shows a separate key.
If you do in-deed have a flywheel with a "cast in" key I have been able to repair them
You'd need some keyway stock (square or rectangular rod). I take different small files,
some triangular, some flat, etc.
I then file and cut a notch into the distressed flywheel.
It takes some time and patience but it does work and you have a STEEL KEY, not an aluminum
cast key... Saves the cost and time of a new flywheel...
