VALVE SEAL FITTING QUESTION FOR BRIGGS & STRATTON RIDE ON MOWER

 ,
I recently took apart my briggs & stratton ride on mower- engine number 33M977-0002-G5 and replaced the crank shaft.
This was my first time doing this type of work and when I put everything back together I found I had one oil valve seal left over and I'm not sure where it is meant to go back in.
I can see that there is one already in place that I haven't touched and it is on the outside of the combustion chamber
Is the other oil valve seal meant to sit on the seat on the inside of the combustion chamber on that seat I have shown by the arrow.
Thank you
Sorry I'm a beginner so if I sound a bit dumb, bear with me. Regards Adam

Most if not all Briggs uses just ONE valve seal located under the spring (as shown in your first pic).

Nothing goes inside the intake/exhaust tracks...

    Your good...
