Charging 48V Husqvana Battery

Hi all I need some information if anyone can help.

I have several 48V Husqvana appliances and have up until now been charging them from mains 240V(Australia)voltage.

I will soon be touring and will need to recharge them from a 12V/240V inverter.

I would like to know the current or wattage draw when the batteries are charging so that I can size the inverter to suit.

I have tried to charge them from a 400W inverter but no charge so I think I will need a larger Wattage inverter.

Can anyone help with the info I need.

Thanks

A 5A 48V battery is just under 250 watts. Is the battery charger the only thing plugged in into the 400V inverter?
