Looking for an upgraded part for cooling fins

Good Day everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I'm looking for an upgraded part for the Briggs & Stratton 796200 preferably in aluminum or similar metal. I had one break the fins on me and replaced that this past NOV. Haven't run it in a while and between then and now I've used it for maybe an hour where everything was fine.

Yesterday I was helping a friend clear out a bit of land (this is installed on a brush cutter) and during that time yesterday, it broke the fins again, so I'm now having to replace it again. I would like to avoid having to replace it a 3rd time so if I can get one made of metal (light weight) I would happily pay extra for it.

Does anyone know where I can find something like that?

Thanks in advance.

How is the fan getting busted?   It's under the cover, etc??

Brother, your guess is as good as mine... the only thing I can think of is it is getting beat up in the brush... (as I said before it is mounted to a brush cutter).

    Here's a link to the "mower"... https://www.drpower.com/Power-Equipment/Field-%26-Brush-Mowers-/Walk-Behind-Professional-Series-/DR-Field-and-Brush-Mower-/p/AT45326BEN?gsa=true&ctm_id=at45026ben&src=AW1CA87XE4263309&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwiMmwBhDmARIsABeQ7xS63JZozSMMiy1XI0Fwbz1joY-R46EqbIfxGrVAkFNkwTpaSTK7oOEaAiL3EALw_wcB

I would love to know how it's breaking. I have another problem as well.. now it won't start and back fires through the air filter. Everything I've read says to check the rocker arms/push rods so that'll be done either tomorrow or Tuesday, I'm out of town Wed - next Friday.

    Hummm, interesting..

May want to look under the cover for something loose, not installed properly, etc.
    Something obviously is striking it.

Re the "no start", did the machine strike and stop suddenly?

If the engine got really hot (or is really old) the exhaust valve seat can come loose
and hold the valve partially open causing a no start.  So pay close attention to the height
of the valves in the head (one not closing fully).

Yeah, I'm about to start tearing it down to check all of that now... I was wondering if anyone knew about a an aluminum fan I could buy.

    Thanks again,

Frankly, if the plastic one keeps getting damaged, the aluminum would too as something simply isn't
right..  The plastic fins don't just pop off W/O help....

Look for any rubbing marks inside the cowling, scraps on the plastic fin assembly, somethings
    touching that shouldn't...

So... good news... I found the starting problem... it was just a timing issue... No big deal.
