command pro ch20 piston rings

Bought an oversized piston kit from lil red barn. no instructions with the rings. one ring has a beveled inside edge and the other is square. Should the bevel be up or down and should it go in the top or second groove? also unsure of the end gap. im getting different ranges from different people- cant go by the manual as the piston and rings are a different style. Lil ted barn says bevel should be up in second slot and gap should be .004 to .011. that gap seems small and from what ive read the bevel should go in the top slot facing up (or second slot facing down). Not sure how to proceed.
