Back to the fuel filters. As was suggested I got the filter out of the tank of one of my motors, I did the old suck and blow test and it seemed OK, then when I did the same with one of the brand new filters, WOW what a difference. I guess when the oil heavy fuel mix got in there and it clogged up the filters just enough to be noticeable with the very light suction of the tiny carbs but just enough to starve the motors of fuel at normal operating speeds.
The basics are correct, clean or replace the spark plug, replace the fuel filter with a new one, alway use fresh fuel with the correct oil/fuel mix

2 out of three, I only had two new filters,
it was mostly because of the help and suggestions that I received here.
