Governor Spring linkage for throttle
My throttle spring broke and i bought a exact replacement for it (Briggs and Stratton 790220 Governor Spring) , there are a few holes on the throttle switch and i tried searching online and in the forum how it would look and where should the spring be hooked on. position 1, 2 or 3(there is a pin hole there below the lever)
Engine is a 10L802 0120 F1 Briggs and Stratton
thank you .

I doubt it's #3, the very large hole.
I'd guess the smaller hole. Try # 1 & #2 holes, (one at a time of course).
You'll know immediately by the RPMs which it is...
