ProX 660 Ball Bearings Install
I am trying to install a new ball bearing (shaped like a hockey puck) in the fork of my Cub Cadet Pro X 660. It slides in, but needs to fit past a small lip around the inside of the tube in order to fit into place (checked to make sure on the other wheel fork). There is no say it is slipping past this ring. I tried a sledge hammer and rebar (it bent the rebar) with no success. If I leave the bearing above this lip, the post on the fork does not come up high enough to fit all the way through it. All my other mowers, it just slipped in and that was it. Any suggestions? Please just suggestions...I don't need a bunch of people telling me how stupid I am [image]data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7[/image] Thanks in advance!
