Model Number

I found an older BG 4 HP on the side of the road last week and disassembled it to see if I could get it running. The model/type number is 100212-0464-01. Everything I'm finding in parts houses has a 99 at the tail end of the "type" number - not 01 as depicted on mine. Anyone know if parts with a 99 suffix is interchangeable with a 01 suffix? Thanks.
