Does engine 406777-0442-B1 DoM 03/10/2010 have compression release?

When I click on the part number link above a cam shaft for a single cylinder engine comes up. that cannot possibly be right. Then i googled the number and the correct cam shaft comes up. Weird!!!!
Anyway, does this compression release apply to both cylinders?

Yes, it works on both cylinders.

You have two lobes, for intake and exhaust.  With just two lobes, they act on both cylinders..

As you all may remember, I did a ring job just a few months ago and had the engine all open. I always thought that the mower had to struggle to get started and then I saw a post from someone with a very similar problem and now i suspect that the compression release may be the culprit. Dang, I guess I need to open her up again to check that gizzmo on the cam shaft. It never even dawned on me to do that when I had the chance. That's the school of hard knocks, I guess! But I understand there are ways to check this without having to open up the crank case.

Look at the 8:00 minute mark on this video:

    https://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?fr=mcafee&p=briggs+compression+release+which+valve+bumps%3F&type=E210US1498G0#action=view&id=5&vid=1fc0e8e35c4fd906c83e8124bf077132

If you don't see that little bump on the intake valve, it's broke...
