1977 Ariens, Tecumseh H70 flywheel need help Please

Have an Ariens ST724 model 924032-008001. 1977. Snowblower
Has Tecumseh H70, model 1302100 SnowKing engine.
The flywheel has 18 broken teeth, so I need to find the correct one and a bit of "DIY, how to do the change."
 
I found numbers, (if correct?) 30811A Flywheel, and a 6111085 Flywheel (more than half the new cost of the machine in 77!) I do not know difference between them. Maybe should go for a used one if available?? (guess check see if magnets still make it work?) NO headlight on the Ariens.
 
Also, the engine shroud must come off, but two bolts on the engine lift ring, are they head bolts, or just bolts. Will that be an issue? When removing shroud?  Any guidance on doing this repair would be helpful Thanks

The head bolts would go around the perimeter of the head itself.  
Usually 3 across the top and bottom and one in-between on the sides, (8 total)
 
If the head bolts go thru the cover,  they would need to be removed to pull 
the starter cover off.  
 
I don't see a lifting ring on the engine parts diagram (but you can see the head:

Do I need to worry anything about magnet strength on the flywheel?  MAGNETS GENERALLY DON'T GO BAD. YOU CAN CHECK WITH A METSAL OBJECT. 
 
Any tip get it off.  GET THE FLYWHEEL NUT REMOVED (AIR GUN OR LOCK UP THE FLYWHEEL AND USE 1/2" BAR AND SOCKET). PUT THE NUT BACK ON SOME TO PROTECT THE THREADS.  WITH A PRYING TOOL, PUT PRESSURE BETWEEN THE FLYWHEEL AND BLOCK (STURDY SPOT). WITH PRESSURE ON THE PRY TOOL, WACK THE NUT/CRANKSHAFT.  THAT WILL GENERALLY POP IT OFF.  IF YOU HAVE AN AIR IMPACT GUN, THAT ON THE CRANK WILL DO THE SAME AS THE HAMMER..
 
Tried to get a magnet to see where the broken teeth went, but none....
 
 
Here , I hope is photo of head lift ring. OK, THAT LIFT RING IS HELD ON WITH TWO HEAD BOLTS.

I may have to wait till spring as I do not have a warm enough area as it is brutal cold...and I am not as young as I used to be...
 
Also I live in Canada so getting parts will be a longer process.  GO ON-LINE AND LOOK UP SOME YOU TUBE VIDEO'S WHICH SOME ARE HELPFULL..
