Pull starter on Tmax Falcon power Auger

Engine stopped running suddenly. Now pull starter rope jerks back hard and won’t pull. Any thoughts? Where could I find a manual and parts. Manufacturer’s website not much help. It is only 3 months old. Seems like something broke internally or is jammed. Had similar problem on honda power washer which turned out to be a broken rocker arm so the valve ddid not open causing it to resist the pull rope. Had a similar issue with my lawnower cratsman briggs and straton. Turned out to be a broken shear key for the flywheel which through off the valve timing.
