Honda self propelled

Do the self propelled transmission come with gear oil in gearbox

    If it's a Honda with the HYDRALIC transmission (rear drive-variable speed), buried up behind 
    the frame shroud, yes it uses oil.  That trans is about $400.00
     
    If a regular small(about the size of a coffee cup), belt driven (front or rear drive) it would have to have some lubricant in it.
     
    They RARELY leak and to fill it would require partial disassembly...
     
    A MODEL # for the machine your talking about would help GREATLY...
