I have looked everywhere but inside the tires to find it. The Replacement Parts list inside the engine compartment does not mention one. Is it possible this puppy doesn't have one? It is a spin on unit, quite visible, IF EQUIPPED.... It does make oil changes neater and faster.. . Scott Quote #2

I have an Ariens riding lawn mower mdl: 960160027 03 pwrd by B&S 17.5 HP mdl:31R907 Type: 0018G1

It's NOT unusual for that engine to not have a filter...

It is a spin on unit, quite visible, IF EQUIPPED....

It does make oil changes neater and faster..
