Missing a part?

I have a B&S 130 series engine on a Husqvarna DRT900 tiller and it doesn't run right--it doesn't develop power under load and keeps trying to die out.  While looking for the engine's serial number, I found a black wire with a round female connector on the end that was hanging down.  I can't see where it comes from as I haven't torn things apart but I suspect it is from the carburetor.  I also saw a threaded hole across from the dipstick and at first I thought a bolt was missing.  After looking at it and comparing where the wire reached, I am wondering if there is a sensor missing from that hole and if that is what the wire attaches to.  Notice that the metal around the hole is different from the rest of the engine.  I attached a snapshot.  The representative at B&S did not have any idea as to what those two items were.  She suggested that the wire might attach to the battery but there is no battery.  My search has been further hampered by the fact that I cannot find anything on the model number of the engine:  130G320081F1.  I practically had to stand on my head to read the number so I hope I got it right.  I may have to jack the tiller up to read it better.  I've had the tiller in the shop twice and it only has about 5 hours running time.  I use stabilized gas, I use the gas shut off valve and I run the tiller until it quits.  B&S thinks it is a carb
issue but that hole and wire make me wonder.  Any ideas about these two items?  Thanks.

The wire is for a light in other applications. The hole is for mounting a 120VAC electric starter where that block is used on a snow blower. Try typing the number as 130G32-0081

    Roy,

Many thanks for that info.  I jacked the tiller up this morning and I did have one digit of the model number wrong--it is 130G320061F1.  Being 73 and trying to stand on your head to read stuff obviously doesn't work good :-)

The connector is for the optional low oil sensor.
