Toro Carburetor 81-4750 needle and seat

I have a Toro lawnmower that has a carburetor Part# 81-4450. the carburetor leaks gas into the air filter after shutting off for awhile.  I have replaced the needle. overhauled the carburetor ( and float is good ) and still leaks.  I am looking for the seat to change out ( or clean). I don't want to buy a new carburetor for +$250.00 and the mower is otherwise in good shape.  I haven't found any information on what needle and seat might cross over or the size of the seat. Just hate the thought of having to buy a new mower when this is in good shape just because of a seat in the carburetor.

Unfortunately the seat is not serviceable and yes, what few parts still available for your engine are very expensive. It was a sweet unit built by Suzuki but discontinued in the 90's.

is there a way I try to clean the seat?  It may just have build up on the seat that may be causing the leak.

Try carb cleaner and a q-tip

Roy, thanks for the "tip", could not resit the pun.  Tried the q-tip and it and cleaned the seat but still leaked a small amount.  Ended up installing a fuel shut off valve.  Again thanks for the information.
