1971 Wheel horse

I have a 1971 Wheel horse tractor bronco. I owed 30 + years. I restored it and it runs good.It has a 14 hp Kohler  It has a electric clutch . I bought one on ebay a few years ago but its not working now? I want to buy a new one but I know the original is not available? I want to buy a after market one and make the brackets work? The clutch hole size is 1-1/8 . or may be convert it to a manual clutch system ? I see manual clutch systems for sale but do not know if they will work .
