Measurements for a Husqvarna deck belt part# 588814301

Does anyone know the measurements for a Husqvarna  deck belt part# 588814301 ?
jackssmallengines.com  DOES sell the above apx ($57) but listing is silent on the size.

I am buying this belt in advance of needing it.
jack's sells kevlar vbelts by size  for about half the above OEM price.
My intent is to buy the right belt and hang in the shed waiting for the day its needed.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. There likely is not an aftermarket belt that will fit, the OEM's like to keep that sort of thing to themselves by making them in odd sizes. Keep in mind that the deck belt needs to be high quality in order to survive the demands placed on it.

for those that care I took deck belt off and measured it.
    I found it the partnumber: 588 81 43-01 to be 137.5" long.
    on my husqvarna lgt48dxl
    * within the belt-tension adjustment there is about 2.5" of total takekup/letout
(mower from factory had tensioner set about mid-way in range).
    * there is handle to raise/lower deck with 7 positions.
there is about about 3" of difference between mowing in lowest position 1 and highest position 7
    * when "leveling" deck in position 1
you can let out the leveling nuts so deck is really low 3/8"? to fairly high 2"
whatever you set the lowest position your highest mow height will be about 3" more
(conversely stated if you level deck in handle position 7 lowest mow height will be about 3" less)

being a cool season grass mower I "never" mow lower than 2" so I leveled my deck high.

I found with factory belt I ended up using most of the tighting available in belt tensioner
This meant I am "ok" with factory belt but given circumstances of leveling high
a 137 (A135K) maybe even a 136 (A134K) would be a better choice than factory size as it would
leave more adjustment should anything "stretch".

I have no idea what happens when you "level" the deck low my guess factory size or 138 (A136K) would work.
Hopefully this information may help others in their belt buying selection.

Use Massey Ferguson OEM Replacement Belt. Replace GB5123 (1/2" x 136")    vs Husqvarna  Belt 588 81 43-01  (1/2" x 137.5).  About $30 MF vs $60 Hq.  MF seems stronger to me by feel and does fit for recommended spring adjust of 5 3/4".  Over time the Husqvarna can out stretch the adjustment eye bolt and will throw off the belt when there is any resistance, thick grass, etc. How to measure the spring?  Cut a small wood block 5 3/4" for easy line up with the coil.
