    Most likely a safety switch problem but to better help we would need the model number from the serial number tag.

    Tnx for the model number. I wrote the Briggs to see if they will provide me with a wiring diagram since not in the OM or IPL. Meanwhile check that your seat switch connector is fully plugged in. They contain a shorting strip that activates as it gets loose.

    Thanks for checking. I called the dealer, sorry I had an elder moment s that should have been first step. They said that the seat sensor was most liklely dirty. Since I have hand strength issues I have not been able toget it out but will keep trying. Those tabs are a pain
