Briggs and Straton Gas power washer

Briggs and Straton gas Pressure washer.  I ran it, accidently, for about 15 minutes without water hookup and now, the pump does not run.  Does the pump need to be replaced from running 15 minutes?  First time used this year, ran fine last year.

If the engine still runs then replace the if it is a vertical unit as pumps are about cheap as rebuilds and it getting the same way with horizontal pumps too.

If you are unable to start the motor, separate the pump from and try as the pump is probably locked up. Water is the cooling agent water pumps don't survive being ran dry. They don't even when captivated (air locked) if left too long.
