Governor Spring Unhooked

I have a Kohler CV15 and the governor spring has come unhooked, not from the governor arm but the other end (see photos). I can't see where it goes. Any help is appreciated.

There will be a tab on the back side of the throttle plate, the cable operates it.

Thanks. I think I found it--a small narrow slot. Now I have to figure out how to get the spring end through it.
