Starts and runs fine, except when I pull the trigger

I have a Homelite powerwasher with a Honda engine.  It starts on first pull and will Idle fine.  But when I pull the trigger it works for 1-2 minutes with good pressure and then the engine shuts down.  Sometimes with a back fire.  Any ideas of what the problem could be?  Thanks in advance.

Check my story below regarding the Ryobi/Honda.
Mine wouldn't die, but really powered down when the trigger was pulled.
The unloader and a throttle adjustment fixed mine.
I'm fairly good with engines, but fairly new to pressure washer repairs.
Don't know if this will help you or not.

Low oil?  I had one that would run for about 6-7 seconds then shut off.  I topped off the oil, same thing.... I disconnected the oil sensor and it works fine.  So I had bad sensor.

Thanks for replies.  I had changed the oil, and level seems find.  It doesn't seem to have an issue with power, there's no hesitation when I pull the trigger.  It does not stall until a couple minutes of use, it does without sputtering or straining, often with backfire.  I'm not much of a small engines person, but wondering if the pump could be causing the engine to suddenly stall.

As I mentioned, I am fairly new to working on pressure washers.
Just thinking logically, it doesn't make sense that it would work OK for a couple of minutes and then just die.
Does it restart right away after it dies?
Have you had it a while or did it do this since new?
If it is not newer, maybe a spark plug (and plug gap)?
It could be an adjustment of the throttle (might be the cause for the backfire?).
Should be a simple fix. One thing I've learned is, if it runs at all, it can usually be brought back.
Maybe someone with a little more knowledge than me will chime in soon.
    Good luck.
