Log Splitter Valve Control replacement

Afternoon,
I have a 2006 Central Hydraulic (Harbor Freight) 22 Ton log splitter with 5.5hp B&S.  I'm not sure on the pump size and it says I have an 8 inch cylinder.  Valve control has been leaking and steadily getting worse and wanting to replace it.  I am unable to locate any identifying information about the control itself on the body or via owners manual.  I have seen a couple of "identical" ones online and they seem to either be 25 or 30GPM.  I guess my question is does it matter which GPM valve control I use based on the provided information?  The current valve has 1/2 inch NPT work ports and 3/4 outlet ports.  Any info/guidance in helping me replace the control valve with the same/similar unit would be great.  The splitter has been trouble free for the 9 years I have owned it usually splitting around 10-15 cord a year between the neighbors and I.  Thanks

Welcome! A hydraulic shop should be able to match it up, you have standard SAE fittings. They are common and not expensive.
