20 hp Intek V twin issue

Hey guys, new guy here. Thanks for having me! I have replaced the pulse pump on my mower to adios a flooding scenario in which my crankcase was being showered in gas at an alarming rate. I flushed case, replaced oil, and replaced the filter. Got the exhaust to stop puking gas and the oil to remain consistent, but now the engine fires but is running like an old school hit and miss. Looking for my next step in repairing this mower if any of you have ran into this before. Thanks in advance for your consideration and time!

I'm no expert, but I do have a 20 hp Intek twin.

Gas getting to the crankcase can be caused by a dirty carb.  If the needle isn't seating gas just fills the bowl and gets into the cylinders, then past the rings to the crankcase. Be sure that it is not still happening.  I'd tear the carb down and clean it well.

That should help your engine run better too.
